What the story is about
Delilah and her boyfriend Ryan borrow a beach house that is completely empty, so the plan is simple: sun, privacy and time together. Then Lena, Delilah's best friend, turns up a day before anyone expected her and makes no effort to hide that Ryan caught her eye the second she saw him.
The title promises a betrayal, but the story does not stay that bitter. Delilah watches the attention shift, and rather than storming off she ends up drawn into the situation herself. All three are consenting adults, and the drama comes from jealousy turning into curiosity.
Lena the Plug as the lead
This is a Candy Shorts series built around a digital twin. The character Lena is played by the AI twin of the performer Lena the Plug, who licensed her likeness to Candy. It is not the real woman on screen: Candy labels twins as AI-generated, and this is scripted fiction.
Her role fits the persona of her chat profile, outspoken, confident and unbothered. She is the instigator here, the person who says out loud what everyone else is thinking, so fans of the twin get to see that attitude in a story rather than only in text.
Mood and what to expect
The tone is glossy and flirtatious, closer to a summer fling than to a heavy drama. Expect sunshine settings, rivalry that softens quickly and a lot of eye contact before anyone acts. The pleasure of the premise is watching a friendship test turn into something all three seem to want.
If you prefer slow, quiet build-ups, the pacing may feel brisk, because the setup is straightforward and the tension rises quickly once Lena arrives. Viewers who dislike cheating storylines should also know that the betrayal angle is part of the hook.
The free preview and whether to finish
Candy lets you start without paying. The early episodes are safe-for-work previews that introduce the house, the couple and Lena's entrance, and end well short of anything graphic. It is plenty to tell whether the cast clicks and whether the video quality satisfies you.
The remaining episodes are paid in tokens, with the current price visible on the series page. Finishing is worth it if the preview made you want to see how Delilah reacts. Lena and Delilah each have a chat character too, so the roleplay can continue afterwards.
