DreamyShorts is a streaming site for short adult series, run by Dream Studio USA, the company behind OurDream AI. The catalogue lists 91 series of five to seven vertical episodes, and every one lets you watch the opening episode with no account at all. Once logged in you can also chat with the characters from each story, and a Premium account works on both DreamyShorts and OurDream.
What DreamyShorts is
The site does one job: it streams scripted vertical series made for adults. There is no generator to learn and no character builder on the front page, just a wall of covers, a featured carousel and a play button. The terms on the site name Dream Studio USA, Inc., a Delaware corporation, and describe one account that covers ourdream.ai and ourdream.io; the episode pages add that a Premium account works on both sites.
That link matters. OurDream is one of the strongest AI companion brands we rank, and DreamyShorts is its answer to Candy Shorts: stories first, with the companion chat one tap away.
The catalogue: 91 series and counting
On the day I checked, the collection showed 91 series, most with six episodes and a few with five or seven, and a long run of them tagged New. Filters split the wall into All, Specials, New and Request, and a vote page lets viewers push for what gets made next.
The range is wider than on most rivals. A large share are affair and temptation stories set in very British places: a sleeper train to the Highlands, a Surrey commuter village, a seaside hut, a ski chalet. Next to them sit step-family drama between adults, a few comedies with titles like It's Raining MILFs, and a surprising amount of genre fiction: fantasy kingdoms in Ashes of the Rose Crown and The Moonblood Pact, a post-plague dome in The Cradle, time travel in Elapsed.
- Andrea: a neighbor across the hall keeps count of every man who visits apartment 181
- The Lower Bunk: a ticket mix-up shares a sleeper compartment for one night
- Spare Room: a lodger, a married woman and a husband's train timetable
- The Cradle: the last man on Earth and three women inside a sealed dome
How the free episodes work
The access model is simple and spelled out on the homepage in three steps. Episode one of every series plays with no sign-up. A free account unlocks episode two. Everything after that is included with Premium.
Each series page also carries two trailers, so you can sample the tone before you spend anything. Two free episodes is enough to know whether a story hooks you, but not enough to finish one, which is the whole point of the model.
Chatting with the characters
Under the episode list, most series show their cast with a prompt to tap a character and start chatting, after logging in or creating a free account. In Mother's Helper that means three named characters, in The Cradle four. It is the same idea that makes Candy Shorts sticky: you meet someone in a story, then keep talking to them after the credits.
Because the chat runs on the OurDream account, it should behave like OurDream's companions. I did not chat with them, so I cannot judge memory or writing quality here; our OurDream AI review covers the companion side in depth.
DreamyShorts pricing
There is no public price list. The site says the later episodes are included with Premium and that Premium is shared with OurDream, but neither dreamyshorts.com nor the OurDream pricing address showed a figure to a visitor who is not logged in. I will not guess one.
In practice the free path is generous for a first look: every opening episode with no account, the second with a free one, plus trailers. Check the price inside your account before upgrading, and remember it buys OurDream access too.
Privacy and age checks
The privacy policy says Dream Studio encrypts user and product data both at rest and in transit, collects payment details through its payment vendors rather than storing them itself, and uses a third-party age assurance provider where the law requires a real age check, receiving only the result. Registration includes a statement that you are 18 or older. The terms and a content removal policy are linked in the footer next to a DMCA page and a feedback and requests form.
Sites like Candy Shorts: where DreamyShorts fits
Among sites like Candy Shorts, DreamyShorts has the biggest library of original stories we have found outside Candy itself, and it is the only one backed by a top companion brand. Candy keeps the edge on licensed creator twins and on showing its prices up front; DreamyShorts wins on variety, with fantasy and sci-fi next to the usual affair plots, and on letting you watch the opening episode without even an email address.
Pros and cons
What works
- 91 original series, many marked new, with fantasy and sci-fi as well as drama
- First episode of every series free with no sign-up, second free with an account
- Two trailers on each series page
- Character chat for most series through the OurDream account
- Run by the company behind OurDream AI; Premium works on both sites
What does not
- No prices visible before you log in
- Only two free episodes per series, so finishing a story needs Premium
- Many plots lean on cheating and step-family themes, which will not suit everyone
- Chat requires an account and runs on OurDream rather than inside a separate app
Verdict
DreamyShorts is the strongest new rival to Candy Shorts we have seen: a big, fast-growing library of short adult series with free openers, trailers and characters you can keep talking to, built by the team behind OurDream. Hidden pricing and the heavy focus on affair plots are the catches. Start with the free first episodes; if you already pay for OurDream, the Premium carries over.
