The story: a homecoming, a new queen and dreams that will not stop
Theron returns to his father's court as a grown man and finds it changed. The king has remarried, and his new wife, Queen Lysandra, is the woman Theron has been seeing in his dreams. She has been seeing him too. Those shared visions, which the title pins on the gods, pull the pair into an affair they both know is dangerous, and before long they are found out and sent away from court.
Candy's own blurb gives away the turn that earns the cuck tag: the king, who never managed to satisfy Lysandra, ends up offering his son both his wife and his crown. So the story is less a tragedy of forbidden love than a fantasy of the heir winning everything while the king steps aside. Both lovers are adults, and the stepmother bond is a tie by marriage, not by blood.
Who will enjoy it
This is for viewers who like their taboo in costume. Stepmother fans get the familiar forbidden pull, and the royal setting adds stakes a suburban plot cannot match: a crown, a court that can banish you and a king whose decision shapes everything. The cuckold angle will decide it for many, since the husband's choice is the real hook of the ending. If fantasy settings or cuckold themes leave you cold, it is an easy skip.
What you see before paying
The free episodes stay SFW and, judging by the premise, center on the homecoming, Theron's meeting with Lysandra and the dreams that bind them. That makes the free part more about atmosphere and longing than heat, which suits a story that has to build its world before the affair can start. You can start watching on Candy's series page; once the free section ends, each further episode is unlocked with tokens.
The chat character: an odd match
Candy attaches its Camilla Azarian chat character to this series, and the fit is loose at best. Her opener is a modern party scene, a locked bathroom and a phone handed over for photos, with no palace, prince or Queen Lysandra anywhere in sight. You can still ask her to play a queen, since the chat follows your lead, but expect to write the royal setting yourself. The chat can also create images and brief scene videos; the videos are paid for in tokens.
Is it worth unlocking?
If the free part draws you into the dream-linked romance, the paid episodes are where it pays off, both in heat and in the king's surprising offer. The story has a clearer arc than many Candy Shorts, with a seduction, a fall from grace and a reversal, which gives your tokens something to buy beyond extra scenes. If the fantasy staging feels like dress-up, the rest will not change that. This page lists the current episode count and price, taken from Candy each day.
