EroLove is a new 18+ companion site from Portugal that skips the usual character builder and hands you a cast of written lovers instead, women and a handful of men, each with a job, a city and a temper. The pitch is memory: what they keep about you sits on a screen you can read, fix and wipe. It runs in the browser in nine languages and opens with 5 free messages a day.
What EroLove is and who it is for
Most AI girlfriend sites ask you to design a partner from sliders. EroLove goes the other way: the team writes every character, and you pick one. The roster I counted today in the site's public character list has 28 adults aged 21 to 47, 23 women and five men, so it also works as an AI boyfriend site. Each comes with a short biography, a home city from Leeds to Lisbon to Busan, and a clear temperament, from a night bartender in Leeds to a loud chef from Naples.
That approach suits people who want to talk to someone with a ready personality rather than build one. If your fun is crafting a custom face, body and backstory, this is the wrong place: there is no creator, and the reviewers EroLove itself links to all list that as the main gap.
Memory you can read, edit and delete
This is the feature EroLove is built around. Companions store facts, shared moments and summaries from your talks, and the app gathers them on a screen called Our story. According to the privacy policy everything there can be read, fixed, pinned, exported or erased, and memory is part of the free plan too, not a paid extra. Premium only makes it longer.
Seeing exactly what the bot believes about you is rare in this niche. Most competitors keep memory as a black box, so when the character gets your name or your job wrong you cannot fix it. Here you can, which matters far more over weeks of chatting than any single clever reply.
Scenes and rooms: how the roleplay starts
Instead of an empty chat box, EroLove offers dozens of short scenarios that drop you into a moment already underway: a bar after closing, a rainy car with the engine off, a night train with two bunks, a hotel with one room left. The companion sends the first line and you answer, which removes the awkward blank start that kills many roleplay sessions.
Rooms are the other twist. You can put up to four companions in one group chat; they talk over each other, stay in character and react if you pay attention to only one of them. What you told one of them in private carries into the room. It is a playful idea that I have not seen done this way on the bigger girlfriend apps.

Photos, voice and what is still missing
Companions can send pictures during a conversation, and the face stays consistent from one to the next, and replies can be read aloud in each character's own voice. Both are paid in sparks, the site's credit. A photo costs 10 sparks and voice costs 4 sparks per 100 characters, and a failed photo returns its sparks automatically.
Video is the weak spot today. Five-second clips are listed on the pricing page as coming soon at 60 sparks, and calls are also not part of any plan yet. You cannot send your own photos to a companion any more either: the privacy policy says that option was removed. Anyone who wants an image generator with prompts and sliders should look elsewhere.
EroLove pricing: free plan, Premium and sparks
The free plan costs nothing and needs no card: 5 messages a day with memory and rooms both included, plus 25 sparks when you sign up, which covers a couple of photos. Five messages is a taste rather than a usable plan, and that is the first thing you will hit.
Premium costs $12.99 monthly, or $77.99 billed yearly, which works out to $6.50 a month. It lifts the cap to 800 messages a day, deepens memory, lets companions write first, unlocks locked posts and adds 1,000 sparks a month, roughly 100 photos. A Devoted tier at $29.99 a month with 3,500 sparks is announced but not yet on sale.
Messages are never charged in tokens on any plan, which keeps the bill predictable. Spark packs are one-off buys from $2.99 for 300 sparks on your first purchase, then $4.99 for 250 up to $99.99 for 8,000. Plan sparks reset monthly; bought sparks do not expire.
Payments, privacy and safety
Right now checkout takes crypto only: Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, Monero and others. Card payments are announced. A crypto plan does not renew by itself, so there is no surprise charge, but people without a wallet simply cannot pay yet. When cards arrive, the terms say a processor's name rather than EroLove may show on the statement.
The operator, Branco Confidente Unipessoal LDA, is a Portuguese company, so the service sits under GDPR. The privacy policy says chats are treated as sensitive data, never sold or used for ads, and erased within 30 days after you delete the account. Two points to know: chat content goes to outside AI model providers to produce replies, and images generated in chats may be picked by the team and published as the character's showcase, never linked to your account.
On safety, every character is a fictional adult, a filter screens out banned themes, including non-consent and anything involving characters under 18, before a message reaches the model, and UK visitors pass a third-party age check.
EroLove vs other AI girlfriend sites
Against Candy AI or HeyGF, EroLove trades breadth for depth. Those apps let you build a girlfriend and offer more image and video options; EroLove has a smaller written cast but a more transparent memory, scenes that start themselves and group rooms. The yearly Premium price is among the lowest I have checked in the category, and messages are not metered. If you already pay for a big companion app, EroLove is worth a look mostly for its memory and roleplay writing, not for media.

Verdict
EroLove is the most interesting new companion site I have checked this autumn: a written cast, a memory you actually control, and scenes and rooms that make roleplay start fast. It suits people who care about conversation and continuity more than custom looks. If you need card payments, video or a character builder, wait for those features or stay with a bigger app like Candy AI.
